Grow-Immunize! is a public awareness program designed to educate and encourage Ohio's
parents of infants and young children to immunize their children on time. It is one
component of Ohio's program to reduce the number of preventable infant deaths and
illnesses by promoting preventive health care.
- The U.S. National
Vaccine Program Office (NVPO) of the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
maintains a website with information about vaccines and immunization couched in language
intended to be accessible to everyone. Unlike many other CDC sites, this one is slow to
load because of its many graphics; readers might try using it with autoloaded images
turned off (see "Hypertext" under Site
Tips).
- The New Zealand Ministry of Health Immunisation Page
carries the official material on vaccination laws and practices in that country, plus good
discussion of the issues in this area as well as numerous valuable links.
